In a Nutshell
  • Deliver professional face, body and beauty treatments to guests throughout their holiday.
  • Help guests relax, recover and recharge alongside everything else a Neilson holiday has to offer.
  • Work with luxury skincare and wellness brand Temple Spa.
  • Earn uncapped commission alongside your basic salary.
  • Build valuable professional experience while spending a season in one of our incredible Beach Club destinations.

About Us

For almost 50 years, Neilson has been creating unforgettable active holidays in some incredible Beach Club destinations.

From sailing and watersports to tennis, fitness, biking and much more, our guests are at the centre of everything we do.

Our Spa Teams give guests the chance to relax, recover and recharge alongside everything else a Neilson holiday has to offer.

We’re looking for qualified, enthusiastic therapists who combine great technical skills with personality, professionalism and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

About You

You’re a qualified Spa Therapist who loves what you do and takes genuine pride in delivering brilliant treatments.

You’re warm, engaging and professional, with the confidence to put guests at ease and build genuine relationships.

You understand that every guest is different. Whether you’re helping someone unwind after a day on the water, recover from an active day of tennis or cycling, or simply enjoy some well-deserved time to themselves, you’ll tailor your approach to give them a fantastic experience.

Technical ability matters, but so does the person behind it.

You communicate naturally, pay attention to the little details and understand how brilliant service can turn a single treatment into repeat bookings throughout someone’s holiday.

You’re also comfortable with the commercial side of Spa life. You’ll recommend treatments and products where they’re genuinely appropriate, using your expertise and product knowledge rather than giving guests the hard sell.

You’re organised, adaptable and resilient enough to work within a busy seasonal environment while maintaining excellent treatment, hygiene and presentation standards.

You don’t necessarily need years of professional experience behind you. If you have the right qualifications, strong practical ability, a great attitude and the ambition to develop, we’d still love to hear from you.

Role Overview

As a Neilson Spa Therapist, you’ll deliver professional face, body and beauty treatments while creating memorable wellbeing experiences for our guests.

You’ll work with Temple Spa, receiving comprehensive product and treatment training to give you the knowledge and confidence to consistently deliver outstanding treatments and make appropriate product recommendations.

You’ll manage your appointments professionally, maintain exceptional treatment and hygiene standards and contribute to the overall success of the Spa Team.

There’s a commercial side to the role too. By building genuine relationships with guests, understanding what they need and delivering excellent treatments, you’ll help generate repeat bookings and appropriate product sales – with the opportunity to earn uncapped commission alongside your salary.

For therapists earlier in their careers, it’s also a fantastic opportunity to turn your qualifications into genuine professional experience. You’ll receive training, work alongside experienced colleagues and continue developing your treatment, commercial and guest service skills throughout the season.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Deliver professional Spa treatments safely and to consistently high standards.
  • Carry out professional guest consultations and identify individual treatment needs.
  • Deliver face, body and beauty treatments appropriate to your qualifications and training.
  • Create exceptional guest experiences through outstanding customer care and attention to detail.
  • Recommend appropriate treatments and Temple Spa products based on individual guest needs.
  • Maximise appropriate treatment and retail opportunities through genuine recommendations, excellent product knowledge and professional guest engagement.
  • Build positive relationships with guests and encourage repeat bookings.
  • Develop excellent knowledge of Temple Spa products and treatments.
  • Maintain an efficient, professional and guest-focused booking process.
  • Use Spa booking and POS systems accurately.
  • Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, hygiene, presentation and professionalism throughout the Spa.
  • Follow all Neilson Spa operating procedures and health and safety requirements.
  • Monitor stock levels and report replenishment requirements promptly.
  • Ensure professional and retail stock is stored, managed and handled correctly.
  • Seek guest feedback and share relevant insights with the Spa Manager.
  • Contribute ideas that could improve the guest experience or Spa operation.
  • Support your teammates and contribute positively to the culture of the Spa Team.
  • Build positive working relationships with colleagues across the resort.
  • Support resort set-up and close-down at the beginning and end of the season.
  • Support wider resort operations and other departments where required.

Skills & Experience
You’ll be great at this if you…
  • Hold a Beauty Therapy NVQ Level 3 or recognised equivalent.
  • Hold a Gel Manicure and Pedicure qualification or recognised equivalent.
  • Have strong treatment skills and understand professional Beauty Therapy standards.
  • Have a genuine passion for delivering exceptional Spa and wellbeing experiences.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have the personality and confidence to build genuine relationships with guests.
  • Deliver excellent customer service.
  • Are comfortable recommending treatments and products where they’re genuinely appropriate for the guest.
  • Have excellent attention to detail and maintain high professional standards.
  • Are organised and manage your time effectively.
  • Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Are adaptable and resilient enough to work effectively within a busy seasonal resort environment.
  • Are considerate and supportive towards your teammates.
  • Are willing to learn, develop and respond positively to training and feedback.
  • Can work independently and as part of a wider team.
  • Can confidently communicate in English.
It’d be a bonus if you also have…
  • A Hot Stone Massage qualification or recognised equivalent.
  • Previous professional Spa, salon, hotel, resort or cruise ship experience.
  • Previous retail or product sales experience.
  • Experience working with luxury skincare or wellness brands.
  • Additional beauty, massage or wellness qualifications.
  • Previous overseas or seasonal experience.
