Location: Various Neilson Beach Clubs overseas
Season: April – November
Qualifications Required: Recognised professional Massage Therapy, Body Massage, Holistic Massage or Sports Massage qualification equivalent to UK Level 3 or above (see details below)
Eligibility: UK & EU passport holders
Salary: £740 PCM gross, plus uncapped monthly commission, shared accommodation, meals, flights, and an excellent overall package.

As a UK-based business operating overseas, we’re able to arrange the required visas and work permits for UK and EU passport holders to work legally in our resorts.

In a Nutshell
  • Deliver professional massage and body treatments to guests throughout their holiday.
  • Help active guests recover, recharge and feel their best.
  • Work with luxury skincare and wellness brand Temple Spa.
  • Earn uncapped monthly commission alongside your basic salary.
  • Build valuable professional experience while spending a season in one of our incredible Beach Club destinations.

About Us

For almost 50 years, Neilson has been creating unforgettable active holidays in some incredible Beach Club destinations.

From sailing and watersports to tennis, fitness, biking and much more, our guests are at the centre of everything we do.

Our holidays are active, which makes recovery and wellbeing an important part of the experience. A guest might spend their morning cycling through the mountains, their afternoon on the tennis court or water, and still have plans for tomorrow.

That’s where you come in.

We’re looking for qualified, enthusiastic therapists who combine great technical skills with personality, professionalism and a genuine passion for helping people feel their best.

About You

You’re a qualified Massage Therapist who loves what you do and takes genuine pride in delivering brilliant treatments.

You understand that every guest is different. You’ll listen to what they need, assess them professionally and adapt your treatments appropriately – whether they’re looking to recover after a full-on day of activities, address muscular tension or simply switch off and relax.

Technical ability matters, but so does the person behind it.

You’re warm, engaging and professional, with the confidence to put guests at ease and build genuine relationships. You communicate naturally, pay attention to the little details and understand how great service can turn a single treatment into repeat bookings throughout someone’s holiday.

You’re also comfortable with the commercial side of spa life. You’ll recommend treatments and products where they’re genuinely appropriate, using your expertise and product knowledge rather than giving guests the hard sell.

You’ll be organised, adaptable and resilient enough to work within a busy seasonal environment, while maintaining excellent treatment, hygiene and presentation standards.

You don’t necessarily need years of professional experience behind you. If you have the right qualification, strong practical ability, a great attitude and the ambition to develop, we’d still love to hear from you.

Role Overview

As a Neilson Massage Therapist, you’ll deliver professional massage and body treatments tailored to individual guest needs.

Depending on your qualifications and experience, this could include sports massage, deep tissue, relaxation and recovery-focused treatments alongside other specialist therapies.

You’ll work with Temple Spa, receiving comprehensive product and treatment training to help you confidently deliver treatments and make appropriate recommendations to guests.

You’ll manage your appointments professionally, maintain exceptional treatment and hygiene standards and contribute to the overall success of the Spa Team.

There’s a commercial side to the role too. By building genuine relationships with guests, understanding what they need and delivering excellent treatments, you’ll help generate repeat bookings and appropriate product sales – with the opportunity to earn uncapped monthly commission alongside your salary.

For therapists earlier in their careers, it’s also a fantastic opportunity to turn your qualifications into genuine professional experience. You’ll work alongside experienced colleagues, receive training and continue developing your treatment, commercial and guest service skills throughout the season.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Deliver professional massage and body treatments safely and to consistently high standards.
  • Carry out professional guest consultations and assess individual treatment needs.
  • Deliver treatments appropriate to your qualifications and experience, which may include sports massage, deep tissue, relaxation and recovery-focused treatments.

  • Recommend appropriate Temple Spa products and treatments based on individual guest requirements.
  • Maximise appropriate treatment and retail opportunities through genuine recommendations, excellent product knowledge and professional guest engagement.
  • Develop excellent knowledge of the treatments, products and wellbeing services available within the Spa.
  • Manage appointments and bookings professionally and efficiently.
  • Use Spa booking and POS systems accurately.
  • Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, hygiene, presentation and professionalism throughout the Spa.
  • Follow all Neilson Spa operating procedures and health and safety requirements.
  • Monitor stock levels and report replenishment requirements promptly.
  • Ensure professional and retail stock is stored, managed and handled correctly.
  • Seek guest feedback and share relevant insights with the Spa Manager.
  • Contribute ideas that could improve the guest experience or Spa operation.
  • Support your teammates and contribute positively to the culture of the Spa Team.
  • Build positive working relationships with colleagues across the resort.
  • Support resort set-up and close-down at the beginning and end of the season.
  • Support wider resort operations and other departments where required.
