YOGA INSTRUCTOR
Location: Various Neilson Beach Clubs overseas
Season: April – November
Qualifications Required: Recognised Yoga Teacher qualification – minimum 200-hour certification or equivalent
Eligibility: UK & EU passport holders
Salary: £800 PCM gross, shared accommodation, meals, flights, and an excellent overall package.
As a UK-based business operating overseas, we’re able to arrange the required visas and work permits for UK and EU passport holders to work legally in our resorts.
In a Nutshell
Spend your summer teaching yoga, and other holistic classes, in some incredible Beach Club destinations.
You’ll help guests move, recover, recharge and find a little balance alongside their active holiday, delivering inclusive sessions for a wide range of ages, abilities and experience levels.
You’ll share your passion for yoga and wellbeing while developing your own skills, gaining valuable experience and becoming part of a close-knit resort team.

About You
You’re a qualified Yoga Teacher who is passionate about movement, wellbeing and helping people feel their best.
You’re friendly, approachable and confident creating sessions where everyone feels welcome, whether they’re stepping onto a yoga mat for the first time or have been practising for years.
You understand that every guest is different and know how to adapt your teaching around ability, mobility and individual needs while keeping sessions safe, engaging and enjoyable.
You’ll bring your own personality and teaching style to the programme while enjoying being part of the wider Fitness Team.
You’re organised, adaptable and happy working independently, but you’re equally comfortable being part of a close-knit team, getting involved in resort life and contributing beyond the yoga mat when needed.
Role Overview
As a Yoga Instructor, you’ll deliver a varied programme of yoga and holistic wellbeing sessions within one of our Beach Clubs, helping guests relax, recover, improve mobility and complement the more active elements of their holiday.
Your primary focus will be yoga, but depending on your qualifications and experience, you will also contribute to other areas of the programme. This may include stretch and mobility sessions, mindfulness, breathwork, recovery activities, Pilates, Sound Bath sessions and elements of our wider Fitness Programme.
And your studio isn’t exactly conventional. Depending on the resort and programme, you may find yourself teaching in some pretty special outdoor settings while enjoying everything that comes with a season at a Neilson Beach Club.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver safe, engaging and inclusive yoga sessions in line with the Neilson programme.
- Plan sessions for guests with different abilities, experience levels, mobility and individual needs.
- Incorporate appropriate movement, mobility work, warm-ups and cool-downs into your sessions.
- Help guests improve flexibility, mobility, recovery, relaxation and overall wellbeing.
- Adapt your teaching and movements appropriately to keep sessions accessible and enjoyable.
- Deliver additional holistic, wellbeing or fitness sessions appropriate to your qualifications and experience.
- Promote the Yoga, Fitness and Wellness Programme and encourage guest participation.
- Advise guests on the safe and practical use of fitness and wellbeing equipment.
- Keep equipment and teaching areas safe, clean, secure and well presented.
- Monitor equipment and stock, reporting maintenance or replacement requirements when needed.
- Support the wider Fitness Team and share your knowledge with colleagues where appropriate.
- Follow all company operating procedures, safeguarding responsibilities and health and safety standards.
- Support guest briefings, social events and wider resort operations when required.
- Be flexible and ready to support the wider resort team when needed.
- Assist with airport transfers when required, helping create a professional and welcoming first impression of Neilson.
Skills & Experience
You’ll be great at this if you…
- Hold a recognised Yoga Teacher qualification.
- Have experience teaching yoga to individuals and groups with mixed abilities.
- Can create safe, engaging and inclusive sessions.
- Understand anatomy, movement, mobility and injury prevention.
- Can confidently adapt your teaching for different abilities and individual needs.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Are friendly, approachable and confident engaging with guests.
- Bring personality and enthusiasm to your teaching.
- Are organised, proactive and comfortable working in a busy resort environment.
- Are adaptable and willing to get involved beyond your core teaching programme.
- Enjoy working independently and as part of a close-knit team.
- Have a strong work ethic and willingness to learn and develop.
- Can confidently communicate and instruct in English.
- Genuinely care about creating brilliant guest experiences.

It’d be a bonus if you also have…
- Additional Yoga certifications or specialist training.
- Meditation, mindfulness or breathwork qualifications.
- Sound Bath Practitioner training or qualification.
- Pilates Instructor qualification.
- Fitness Instructor or Personal Trainer qualifications.
- Qualifications in other holistic, wellbeing or group exercise disciplines.
- Yoga Alliance or Yoga Alliance Professionals membership.
- Previous overseas, resort, hospitality or seasonal experience.
- Additional European language skills.
Qualifications
You must hold a recognised Yoga Teacher qualification with a minimum 200-hour certification or equivalent to be considered for this role.
We welcome applications from candidates holding UK and internationally recognised qualifications and equivalent certifications.
Additional qualifications or specialist training in areas such as Pilates, meditation, mindfulness, breathwork, Sound Bath, fitness, mobility or other holistic and wellbeing disciplines are a big advantage and may allow you to contribute to more of the programme.
You do not need to have completed every required qualification before submitting your application.

First Aid Requirements
A valid Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) certificate is mandatory and must remain valid for the duration of your contract.
As a minimum, this must be a one-day, practical, in-person Emergency First Aid at Work course. Online-only First Aid courses are not accepted.
