Salary: £28k - £32k depending on experience

  • Create and deliver engaging multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email, events, partnerships, and sponsorships.
  • Support the full marketing process from strategy and briefing through to asset creation and campaign execution.
  • Role based at our head office in Brighton Marina (UK), with a hybrid working pattern where weekly office days are required.

Role Overview:

As a Marketing Executive at Neilson, you will play a key role in delivering our marketing strategy across a range of channels.

You will be responsible for writing and producing compelling marketing emails, driving strategic partnerships and sponsorship campaigns, and working closely with PR agencies to strengthen our brand presence. You’ll support our event marketing, from initial briefs through to asset creation. We need this role to deliver high-impact, multi-channel campaigns in a fast-paced travel environment.

What You’ll Be Doing 

Email Marketing

  • Plan, write, and produce engaging marketing emails and newsletters
  • Aligned with campaign goals and brand tone.
  • Manage email campaign calendars and performance reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and CRM specialists to optimise campaigns for customer engagement and conversion.

Partnership & Sponsorship Marketing

  • Support and manage marketing deliverables for brand partnerships and sponsorship agreements.
  • Coordinate with partners to align on campaign timelines, content approvals, and co-branded promotions.

Event Marketing

  • Take marketing briefs and lead the creation of assets and materials needed for Neilson events and third-party collaborations.
  • Assist with planning, logistics, and promotion for events, including brand activations and trade shows. 

Team Support & Campaign Execution

  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager on campaign execution across email, social, web, print, and partnerships.
  • Act as the internal project coordinator for creative deliverables with agencies and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide general marketing administration, including raising POs, preparing reports, and managing campaign schedules.

You’ll be great at this if you…

  • Have a degree in Marketing, communications or a related field.
  • Have 1–2 years of experience in a marketing role with proven capability in email marketing, content creation, and campaign coordination.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with external partners and agencies (PR, design, media).
  • Proven ability to create compelling marketing content and review creative assets with a critical eye.
  • Have strong writing and editing skills, with a flair for storytelling
  • Familiarity with CRM/email platforms such as DotDigital, SuiteCRM, or equivalents.
  • Basic HTML skills and understanding of CMS platforms (e.g., Drupal).
  • Competency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Mac-based creative tools (Adobe Creative Suite preferred).
  • Understanding of marketing automation, segmentation, and reporting.

It’d be a bonus if you…

  • Have previous experience in the travel, tourism, or lifestyle sectors.
  • Have an understanding of SEO, social media performance metrics, and digital marketing trends.
  • Have a knowledge of the active holiday market (skiing, cycling, water sports).
  • Familiar with B2C marketing and customer retention strategies.
