We’re looking for enthusiastic Kitchen Staff to join our culinary team this season.
The Role
As part of the Kitchen Staff team, you’ll assist in preparing and presenting dishes to the high standards of Neilson Alana Beach Club. Working closely with our chefs, you’ll help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly, meals are served on time, and every dish meets quality expectations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with preparation, cooking, and plating of dishes to brand standards
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen at all times
Follow food safety, hygiene, and allergen protocols carefully
Support chefs during busy service periods
Assist with stock rotation, deliveries, and ingredient preparation
Keep workstations clean and fully stocked throughout service
Contribute to themed nights, family events, and high-volume meal periods
Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service
What We’re Looking For
Previous kitchen or back-of-house experience preferred, but not essential for the right candidate
A genuine passion for food and working in a fast-paced kitchen
Strong teamwork, communication, and a positive attitude
Knowledge of food hygiene standards and safe kitchen practices
Fluent in English; additional languages are a bonus
Reliable, flexible, and willing to work shifts, evenings, and weekends
Enjoys working in a family-friendly environment
