Salary: £850 PCM gross, plus shared accommodation, meals, flights, and an excellent overall package.
As a UK-based business operating overseas, we’re able to arrange the required visas and work permits for UK and EU passport holders to work legally in our resorts.

About You
You’re an experienced watersports instructor who’s ready for more responsibility and excited by the opportunity to develop your leadership skills.
You know what a brilliant beach operation looks like: safe, organised, welcoming and full of energy.
You’re confident making decisions, have strong technical knowledge and can support other instructors while still being happy to get stuck into the day-to-day operation yourself.
You’ll be reliable, approachable and calm under pressure, with the maturity to step up when needed.
Whether you’re helping an instructor, supporting a guest, solving an operational problem or getting everyone ready for another busy day on the water, you lead by example.
You don’t need to arrive as the finished article. This is a role where you can use the experience you already have while developing your leadership, decision-making and operational skills throughout the season.
Role Overview
As Beach Supervisor, you’ll work closely with the Beach Manager to help lead the day-to-day watersports operation within one of our Beach Clubs.
You’ll support the team across instruction, safety, equipment, staffing and operational standards, helping make sure the beach runs smoothly and guests have a fantastic experience on and off the water.

You’ll remain hands-on while developing valuable experience in team leadership, instructor development, operational decision-making and beach management.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support the Beach Manager in leading, motivating and developing the Beach Team.
- Help manage the day-to-day watersports operation and maintain high standards of instruction, safety and guest service.
- Make sure watersports instruction is delivered safely and to the appropriate programme standards.
- Support staff rotas, taking instructor qualifications, operating requirements and required ratios into account.
- Lead by example during daily beach set-up and pack-down.
- Make sure guests are proactively supported when taking part in tuition or using Neilson watersports equipment.
- Maintain high standards of on-water safety, rescue readiness and operational risk management.
- Help make sure the beach operates in line with Neilson procedures and relevant local requirements.
- Monitor operational risks and complete relevant checks and reporting when required.
- Support the maintenance, repair, security, storage and presentation of watersports equipment.
- Help maintain beach areas and operational spaces to a consistently high standard.
- Coach, support and share your knowledge with other instructors throughout the season.
- Build positive relationships with guests and help create a beach environment that is safe, professional, welcoming and fun.
- Support resort and beach set-up at the beginning of the season and pack-down at the end.
- Support guest briefings, social events, airport transfers and wider resort operations when required.
- Work collaboratively with the wider resort team and be ready to step up when the Beach Manager needs you.

- Have strong professional watersports instructional experience.

- Have excellent knowledge of watersports equipment and associated safety procedures.
- Understand on-water rescue procedures and beach safety management.
- Are confident supporting and developing other instructors.
- Can help organise a busy operation around qualifications, activity requirements and safety considerations.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Are organised, reliable and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- Stay calm under pressure and make sensible decisions when things change.
- Have a strong work ethic and take pride in doing a good job.
- Are approachable, considerate and supportive of the people around you.
- Are resilient, adaptable and willing to learn.
- Enjoy being hands-on and leading by example.
- Have a good standard of spoken English.
It’d be a bonus if you also have…
- Intermediate Planing Windsurf Instructor qualifications.
- Advanced Windsurf Instructor qualifications.
- Foiling Dinghy or Windsurf Instructor qualifications.
- Additional recognised watersports qualifications.
- Previous experience supervising, mentoring or developing other instructors.
- Previous overseas, resort, hospitality or seasonal work experience.
- Additional European language skills.
Qualifications
To join us as a Beach Supervisor, you’ll need to hold:
- Senior Dinghy Instructor and/or Windsurfing Instructor qualification, or recognised equivalent.
- Powerboat Level 2 (PB2), or recognised equivalent.
- International Certificate of Competence (ICC), or recognised equivalent where applicable.
- Active RYA membership if your qualifications are issued by the RYA.
We also welcome candidates with additional recognised UK and international watersports qualifications and equivalent certifications.

First Aid Requirements
A First Aid certificate meeting the relevant requirements of your watersports qualification is mandatory for the Beach Supervisor role.
Your certificate must be in place by your start date and remain valid for the duration of your contract.
If your existing First Aid certificate will expire before or during the season, you’ll need to renew it before your start date.

Commission
Alongside your monthly salary, you’ll have the opportunity to earn end-of-contract commission based on overall team income from selected extras.
